Maine...I am thinking of you...

I know we are in the midst of winter but...I am yearning for Maine...so many fun memories...and the best part of going to Maine over and over and over again...is that LucyGrace comes all of the time...she has stayed in our houses and hotels and the last time...an amazing inn where she even had her own babysitter...or should I say kittysitter...there were even toys waiting for her in our room.  She does not love her new kitty backpack...that is a certainty...but she seemed to love getting up close with chickens and pigs at our favorite restaurant in Maine...Primo's!!!   And she loves staying at The Porches in the Berkshires on our way home...our amazing room comes with pet bowls...just in case you forget!!!

The Immortal Series by Alyson Noel

Hmm...I am totally compulsively hooked on these...the  first one was lovely...and now that I am into Blue Moon...I am again totally absorbed...I am totally amazed by readers who can just dive into more than one book at a time...I have to immerse myself in each book and I do truly feel as though I am cheating myself if I don't give each book my total attention...I love this book trailer that I accidentally found on YouTube...

Another Snowed In Weekend...Sort of...

This was sort of a quiet laid back week end...we were too coughy to go to dinner yesterday...so we cancelled until next week.  We were to sick to do more than lie around and read and watch the Olympics...
We really truly wanted to be more snowed in than we were...we managed to shovel about 3 feet of snow off of one deck and then were too exhausted to do the other deck and no one can get near our front door...I wonder how creative UPS will be with some packages I am expecting...I finished...sadly...Betrayals by Lili St. Crow and fell in love with her blog.  I didn't expect to love love love  my next book...Evermore by Alyson Noel but I am deeply totally into  it...already Damen has taken on the allure of Edward...I will, of course, have to read all four books in a row...because that is what I do.   I found out this morning that my parent's house is now sold...so that was sad...it has been in our family for a very long time...and now it will not...just one more sad sorrowful thing to get used to when your mom and dad die...Today is a quiet peaceful day...more snow is expected...I am ensconced in Evermore...and there is not a need to cook dinner this evening...I am a bit concerned about my total absorption with fantasy but...not that concerned...
